Last week, we participated in the International Ministerial Conference on Freedom of Religion and Belief organized by the British government with the participation of more than 600 religious leaders, researchers and specialists in the field of freedom of religion and belief, which was organized in London.

The Director of the Independent Media Organization participated in the conference with a working paper on the role and importance of training journalists to confront hate speech. The working paper was presented in one of the halls of the British Parliament in which a group of researchers, specialists and project partners - CRIED - and - MRG - in Iraq - Egypt - Pakistan with a number of Of the interested participants in the conference, which was held on the 5th and 6th of July 2022.

A full picture of the training courses for journalists and social media activists in Iraq on hate speech was carried out by the Independent Media Organization, which was welcomed and admired by the attendees, stressing the necessity and importance of continuing the project.
